The order arrives in the chat. So does the payment.

For a takeaway, the receptionist answering questions is only half the job — the other half is taking the order. Our restaurant edition closes the loop: the same number that answers "are you open?" also takes the order, collects the payment, and drives the kitchen screen.

No customer app. No aggregator commission taking a double-digit bite. No tablet-juggling. Three capabilities, end to end:

1. Customers order inside the chat

A customer texts or WhatsApps the shop's number — from the window sticker, a receipt QR, or just their message history. The menu appears in the conversation; they tap or reply to build the order; regulars get a one-tap "reorder your usual." Sold-out items simply never appear, and lunch-only deals show only at lunch.

2. They pay by secure link — money goes straight to the shop

When the order's ready to confirm, the chat sends an itemised total and a secure payment link. The money settles directly to the shop's own account — the platform takes a small flat commission at source and never holds the shop's funds. No order reaches the kitchen until it's paid, so prank orders and no-shows don't exist.

3. The kitchen runs on one tablet screen

Paid orders appear instantly on the shop's tablet with a chime — accept, mark out for delivery or ready to collect, and the customer is texted automatically at every step. Delivery zones, minimum order, express option and opening hours are all enforced by the system, not by memory.

Why it beats renting your regulars back

Most takeaway orders come from repeat customers who already know the shop. On an aggregator marketplace you pay a heavy commission to reach people who were yours to begin with — and the marketplace keeps the customer relationship. Here the number, the customers, the data and the payment flow belong to the shop.

Where it is today — honestly

Order-by-text is in early access: the ordering conversation is built and demonstrable now, and payments are in final integration. We're onboarding a small group of pilot restaurants who want to shape it — pilot pricing, done-for-you setup, direct line to the builders.
